The Centre for Social Analytics and Development Support (CSADS), based in Islamabad, Pakistan, brings together development experience, research expertise, and the analytical potential of artificial intelligence. Our purpose is to make evidence useful to those shaping policies, delivering programmes, and making organizational or personal decisions. We develop knowledge resources and provide advisory support grounded in stakeholder priorities and local realities. Through this work, we aim to connect informed analysis with practical action that responds to institutional needs and community aspirations.
Our work addresses development questions concerning education, skills, employment, livelihoods, governance, inclusion, and climate resilience. We strive to support public institutions, businesses, UN agencies, INGOs, and other development organizations with evidence for planning, implementation, and learning. We also develop accessible resources for journalists, students, parents, and communities to help them understand issues and opportunities. Across these audiences, we connect research findings with policy options, and programme priorities, presenting insights in formats suited to different needs and decision contexts.

We use AI to support evidence searches, document reviews, data analysis, and knowledge product development. Researchers guide these activities, verify findings, and remain accountable for published outputs. We also encourage organizations to adopt AI responsibly through practical guidance, capacity building, and workflow support. Our approach emphasizes transparent methods, credible sources, human oversight, privacy protection, and ethical safeguards. By integrating these principles into everyday practice, we help teams strengthen research while maintaining quality, contextual judgment, and professional accountability.
