Who We Are

The Centre for Social Analytics and Development Support (CSADS) is a knowledge centre based in Islamabad, Pakistan. We operate at the intersection of research and practice, translating complex evidence into accessible insights and conducting AI-enabled research to support informed decision-making for public good.

Our Focus

Pakistan and South Asia face complex development challenges in employment, education, health, governance, and climate. Evidence exists that could guide solutions, but it remains locked in academic journals, buried in technical reports, and scattered across institutional websites. Practitioners and policymakers struggle to access, understand, and apply this research. Meanwhile, organizations need timely evidence that does not yet exist. Traditional research takes months or years to complete, but decisions must be made now. The gap between what we know and what we do persists.

Our Approach

As a Knowledge Bridge; We take existing research from academic institutions, international organizations, and government bodies and translate it into formats that practitioners can understand and apply. Our Social Insights series, policy briefs, and sector summaries distill complex evidence into clear recommendations. As an AI-Enabled Research Organization; When existing research does not answer the question, we generate new evidence. Our team uses artificial intelligence tools to accelerate the research process, delivering insights at the speed organizations need. Every AI-generated output is reviewed by experienced researchers who bring decades of Pakistan-specific expertise.
