UNICEF in Pakistan, Volume II: Safe and Resilient Environments

Volume II of Twenty Five Years for Children in Pakistan examines water, sanitation, hygiene, climate resilience and humanitarian WASH between 2000 and 2025. It separates national WASH trends, shaped by government, households, markets and repeated shocks, from UNICEF's own role, and finds the strongest contribution evidence in catalytic and systemic work such as PATS and PATS Plus, institutional WASH, humanitarian response and emerging climate resilient programming. The volume points to service quality, measured sustainability and executed public finance as the priorities for 2026 to 2030. Part of the CSADS Public Evidence Series. Principal Investigator: Ahmad Nadeem. October 2026. Independent study; not commissioned, requested, reviewed or endorsed by UNICEF.
